An expressive, illustration-led branding project exploring the vibrant and fruity flavor profiles of specialty coffee.
This personal project serves as an exploration of how hand-drawn visual elements can influence consumer perception of taste. True Blend departs from the traditional, minimalist "black coffee" aesthetic in favor of a maximalist, illustrative approach. By utilizing a custom botanical pattern, the brand visually communicates its unique fruity notes before the consumer even opens the bag. The identity balances a bold, heavy-weight serif wordmark with delicate, colorful illustrations to create a premium yet high-energy retail presence.
